Joshua A. Rudd, STYRE'S Founder and Chief Investment Strategist, started in the financial services industry in 1999. He began his professional career in investments as a securities trader with the Associates First Capital Corporation in Las Colinas, Texas, where he was responsible for negotiating and executing trades in short-term money market securities. He then joined a Fort Worth based consumer finance company as a Financial Analyst in their corporate treasury department, where he specialized in securitization and liquidity analysis. Prior to founding The Rudd Company, LLC, he spent 7 years as a financial advisor with a large international investment firm, where he advised individual families in investment management and assisted small to medium size businesses in retirement plan selection and management. He served in a mentor and training leadership role and received numerous leadership awards.
STYRE Wealth was founded in 2009 based on the principle of providing high quality wealth management and financial consulting that is customized for each family or business. Mr. Rudd is the architect of the firm's client experience and investment management strategies. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in finance from The University of Texas at Arlington and earned an MBA from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He also earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist certification from the College of Financial Planning in 2005.
Josh is active in Fort Worth and Parker County communities. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, providing financial coaching with various non-profit organizations, and is passionate about raising "money smart" children. He currently resides in Cresson, Texas, with his college sweetheart and is a father of six.
